The Pause that Refreshes

time to rest at CTS:

9 chessdog 1311 22 1403 34,282 96% Dec 28 - 05:43
10 tjeulesbetes 1555 62 1691 3,654 96% Dec 19 - 01:22
11 dogWaste 1310 20 1564 4,645 96% Dec 28 - 09:22

a. i face a difficult surgery Friday in 36 hours, so am not even sure that i aught to continue any more tactics tomorrow night, after work, the night before a medical procedure. the hand surgeon will decompress the cubital tunnel at my right elbow, and hopefully restore my now significantly reduced hand strength in my right hand, currently at 40% of complete or total strength. from computor use? probably not. from computor use in intense tension over many years as a broker then a serious chess student, mostly online? yes.

b. i cannot see myself back till well into january; then, after warm up sessions at best into mid january, i can continue dogWaste's work to higher levels, probably circa 96.0%. i just did 237 tries in a row with no errors, or 1f/294s= 295 tries @ 99.66%. currently overall i am at 209f/4,436 = 4,645 @ 95.5005 or 96% at the main ranking page. most of the first 2,000 tries were around 1540 to 1480 ELO at around 93%, another 1,000 or so tries at around 1470 ELO at 94%, so the last 1,436 at: 31/1,614= 1,645 tries @ 97.84% is the current modus operendae.

c. i will probably need to write at greater length and will enjoy responding to certain, 'specific' unique individuals, but will, for now, leave any hint of mimesis or digesis to the imagination, allowing all else, till then, in the lurch till a better future time, when i can write more amply and at leasure, as promised, on certain 'subjects'. just as i wrote an open post to temposchlucker, so i will write 'special persons' at my leasure, and not rushed. i think that my note to tempo was writen in june and posted in october, after long necessarily quiet gestation.

d. nemeses, as is more than appropriate, lets things speak for themselves, and requires no further comment here, at this time, other than that Jim E__f would perhaps find a health and fitness program to be most salutary, as is also more than evident by public records in the available domains of hyperspace.

How did your surgery go, amigo? I'm a little worried since you disappeared right after your appointed surgery date. I hope all went well and your hand is better than ever. Like chess dog said, use that other hand! ;-)
