A note that surely mirrors contention sure to arrise in the discussion circles in the months ahead. Anand indeed is the best right now, has been winning, has the highest rating at a likely 2803*, and will be included in the new FIDE ratings lists due out in the next 36 hours or likely sooner**, BUT, there are those who will say he did not meet Kramnik in a match.
