Gigantic II

"All we need is the frame now!"

(see temposchlucker's absolutely wonderful read, 'No Frame, No Gain")

The last version of this,

was published here, with emphasis on classic games within books, as distinct from multiple seperate games.

HappyHippo's (a.k.a. Lousy@chess) recent comment enjoined me to present this in detail now, rather than at a future time. The sheet above is a compressed--partial view of that same sheet, but kind readers can go here instead for a full view, to see in easier detail how this is composed.

My original post on my classic game collection is here, under Contacting David for copies of 1,735 GM Classic Game Database, [Revision: Friday 11Jan2008: much more work completed, and now is a 2,762 game file] (also shown at top right here with links to my non-chess blogs, above my blogroll) but I have yet to write the definitive Classic GM Game post, as I already have dozens upon dozens of elaborated comments here and at your blogs explaining this, so not material to readers. Nevertheless, new readers come, hence my reaching to happyHippo as I do so here. Thank you.

'Polly, Ms. Polly...', Instalment Two [1]

[1] Despite frequen ovatures in public for hook ups with men, I regret to say that I am not available for 'this sort of thing' but do have several very dear Gay friends. But if you know of any thin, younger women, who want to meet a very neurotic, ultra inteligent, picky, eccentric bald man with glasses for procreation, and practice before hand, I am otherwise available. West Coast locations prefered, if not northwest. Women from Jalisco Mexico, Russia, Ukrane, Finland, the Netherlands, Hungary, Iceland, Costa Rica, Spain, Italy, or Iran or Iraq are nevertheless preapproved candidates.

That is a great picture of a bike indeed! It represents perfectly well how I try to cycle (=to play chess)

then i could send you the 1,735 game file now the 865 game file, too.

all i ask in return, even if it is three sentances, is a tiny post telling others what you found.

i think that this will rock you. four to five years of work only?

MANY ASK me what is in these files. now i ask them all, what is NOT in these files?

comment felt, was just thinking of you the SECOND you sent this....

just back from a delectible sushi and sashimi dinner, with Doctor Mike Mirsky, who once played Tal on a train in Russia. the latter was characteristically very nice, but also very, very sh_t faced drunk. the latter of course won.

when mike came to the united states, who wrote on the chalk board, at the hospital, i think it was, where he worked:

"america, the land of soft boiled hard ons".

he came in the next day, but they were not laughing! as i was laughing very hard when i heard this! smiles. yes, that is america exactly. he complimented me that he didnt think that i was american at all (half German, and quarter Scottish: basically means i dont fuck around with anything nor need anyone try it on me!)

he is also a close friend of a real doctor, Dr. Anthonly Saidy--who is also an IM--who is in this same game collection, against no less a foe than Robert J. Fischer, once as i recall, but maybe twice against some other great--of course, as a amatuer chess player.

when i met him, at my store, as he walked in at random, i instantly told him, immediately recognizing his heavy russian jewish accent: "i have a close friend who has beaten kasparov and karpov at chess, the latter three times at blitz". you mean my good friend Yasser, he says. small world, same friend.

and, as they say, the rest is history. somewhere in his LA journies, he did meet Silman and knows him, and Yasser and S. are close. chess is a wonderful excuse to roam the world, as you and i do from 'down under' to 'up and over', here.

mike in addition to perfect russian, german, and hebrew and english, sports many other languages such as polish and latvian, and georgian, etc, and now translates at our many hospitals in seattle, which is a medical leader worldwide, including biotech.

BTW, he loves my pictures, especially ones that i do not show here. :) i guess this means he is still quite alive? :)

he was a sports physiologist for the russian olympic team, but would 'rather prostitute' himself 'than do physiology now, the way it is done here'.

--------------
@happyHippo: i look forward to those stories of yours, or that email. :)

warmest, dk

lol!

Thanks again for sharing your game collection with fellow bloggers. It's a wonderful gesture! And if there's any karma in this world, studying them will surely pay off for you.

I'm eager to study these and know they will be invaluable later, but for now they're in my queue behind Morphy and Anderssen (tactical study) and "How to Reassess Your Chess". I think I need a solid tactical and strategic foundation (framework!) to efficiently absorb the wisdom of these games.

When I was living full-time in Miami, this became an issue for me at times as well. This particular phrasing of the declining is both diplomatic and amusing. This will go into my "Ways to Politely Decline Potential Suitors" bag.

@liquid egg product:

i didnt quite know how to tell you this for fear of disturbing you but its really time that i tell you that i am working 'under cover' as a private detective, carefully selected by a private agency based on my thesis work:

Tuffs University, Phd. Thesis:

"Naaced Medusa: Deconstructing the Mascot in Post Feminist, Post 9-11 Society: It's Socio Economic Impacts: Child Development, Gender Confusion, and Exploitation of Chess Nerds in Blogger Communities of Knowledge"

this is not the time or place to disperse, concentrate, 'fold, spindle, or mutilate' such delicate if not mighty serious an undertaking, but i can tell you, that we at the DK-Institute of 'thong up the ass de facto needless aggressision', upon needless victims of rating fraud, who never intend to appear as they are not,

have observed in our vast photo libraries the overwhelming prediliction towards blond in the north west USA, manufactured so as to attract money and power and attention in significantly amplifying emitted signals inorder to maximize procreative opportunities, in preservation of the gene or genetic pools, thereby also increasing the manufacture of GM's, IM's, FM's, if not class A persons, all of which, willy nilly, might blog and thus read our comment, make comments, theyby increasing our own venues toward reproduction when not otherwise engaged at CTS, FICS, ICC, chessBase, CT-Art 3.0, and PCT, and CTB.

can you appreciate that?

males in our area, we have observed, like this fake blond signifier, and rosy checks, signifying rapid blood flow before, during and after procreation, near chess wins, near chess loses, and solutions of intractable chess puzzles.

this is what we mean.
