Letters to a Young Chess Loser

As is well known, chessLoser wrote a post to which I made a comprehensive comment, which precipitated many other comments, then even an Open Letter to ChessLoser by my very good friend and our most esteemed colleague Phaedrus. I hope that you all read it. Thank you chessLoser and thank you Phaedrus [1].

[1]. I wrote a post almost two years ago called Letters to a Young Blue Devil Knight, which is of course a backhand reference to German Expressionist Poet Rilke, who wrote the magnificient Letters to a Young Poet. It is highly recommended.

I sense a disturbance in the Force. Lately, I've been seeing a small war of words between you and Blue Devil Knight. It seems not unlike the rift between Obi-Wan Kenobi and Anakin Skywalker. I guess that makes you the older and wiser sensei, but you yourself refer to the "young Blue Devil Knight". Is this a longstanding rift or is it just a small disagreement among friends?

good question soapstone. thank you for your care.

i am working ten of eleven days, as is required by my company, with little liberty to write constructively as is best. please allow me to take this up at a latter time, and i gladly will. not simple ...

i have a long four round interview with a company on THAT one day off, monday, which is a start up from former Microsoft employees, in integrated advanced home automation and controls. they need a customer service guru and are burning to see me.

they keep saying that i "could be perfect for this new position". this is, as they say, the real deal.

i am an architect stepped in Project managment (as well as Knowledge management), who knows financial sales (Contact management) and WHO has been in the trenches of customer service in rapid change.

we shall see!
